Using Movie Hunt Questions

The Movie Hunt Section is a list of questions whose answers are specific things to be found within the movie.  You could be looking for a specific object in a scene, a word from a line that is said or a particular sound that is heard. In most cases the answer is easy to find within a few seconds of the start location and in others you may have to watch a bit more, generally no more than 30 seconds.

The video sections are identified by Chapter (eg. Ch01, Ch02, etc.) and by time (eg. 1:23:02).  In the time example, the location would be at 1 hour 23 minutes 2 seconds.  Some players have a GOTO button on the remote which would enable you to put in the exact location time. My player would have me enter 012302 which would appear on the screen as 01:23:02. When I press ENTER after the numbers, the video would start to play at that location.

The questions are designed to increase your awareness of all the things that happen in the movie without taking away from the viewing experience if read before watching.  However, it could be fun to save them for after watching the movie and test how observant you are.  Sometimes subtle things are put into the movie that are clues to what happens later but are missed because of the pace of the story.

If a group is watching, you could print the questions, cut them up and put them in a box or bowl.  Split up into teams and each team would alternate answering the questions as they're taken out of the bowl.  When finished with all the questions, you would go to the video section in the movie and check the answer given.  Obviously those with the most correct answers would win.

This is the "Movie Fun" part of the title and I encourage you to challenge yourself to answer the questions.  I have found that by doing this, many times I've appreciated the movie even more because you become aware of the creativity and talent that was put into a isolated scene from the entire production.  Happy hunting and enjoy!
